A conversation with leaders from the project Ecumenical Protocols for In-Person 91 and from the Humanitarian and Disaster Institute

In this conversation on guidance for resuming in-person worship in the midst of COVID-19, 91 director John Witvliet speaks with Edward Phillips, co-convener of the consultation on Ecumenical Protocols for 91, Fellowship, and Sacrament during a Pandemic; Jamie D. Aten; and Kent Annan from the Humanitarian and Disaster Institute based at Wheaton College.

This conversation in October 2020 occurs as congregations—and the organizations who support them—continue to adjust to changing local circumstances in light of medically sound and theologically informed guidance related to COVID-19.

Several resources are noted throughout the conversation:

  • website, which includes core resources available in English and Spanish.
  • Humanitarian and Disaster Institute
    •
    • hub, which includes a devotional “When Your Whole World Changes” available in 31 languages.
