Details

How can we shape our congregational prayer in ways that respond to Paul’s admonition to the young pastor Timothy, “that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made for everyone, for kings and all who are in high positions, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity” (1 Timothy 2:1-2)?  We will listen and learn, with resources from and for different parts of the Church, including stories from natives of different countries and cultures.

Presented at the 2014 Calvin Symposium on 91 by Maria Cornou (Argentina), moderator, with Elizabeth Hernandez (Mexico) and Carlos Colón (El Salvador)
