Steeped as Matthew is in the Hebrew Scriptures—and so chock-full as Matthew is with citations of and allusions to that part of the Bible—the modern preacher needs to employ extra effort to keep listeners hooked into sermons on Matthean texts. This workshop considers how best to do this while also exploring other rich parts of Matthew.
