Pennylyn Dykstra-Pruim served as associate dean for diversity and inclusion at Calvin University, Grand Rapids, Michigan, retiring in 2024. She holds a PhD in German-English applied linguistics, a MA in German literature, and a certificate in ESL. Her recent books are  (Calvin Press, 2019) and Christians and Cultural Difference, co-authored with David I. Smith (Calvin Press, 2016).
